Terms and conditions of participation

For ease of legibility, this text uses gender-neutral pronouns.

1. Eligibility

a) All natural persons residing in Belgium and The Netherlands are eligible to participate. Minors must obtain permission from their legal guardians to participate, if they are not expressly excluded from doing so.. There is no claim to cash payment.

b) No purchase of goods and services, no donation, or similar are required to participate in the competition. Commercial resale of prize winnings is prohibited.

2. Competition terms and regulations

a) Individuals can take part in the prize drawing by registering for the competition on kicktipp. Before the competition begins, you will receive a GEZE e-mail describing how to participate, and asking whether you want to receive further advertising materials.. The participants who finish in the top 10 after the European Championship will receive the corresponding prizes. The lottery prizes will be raffled among the other participants. All drawings will be completed without consideration of the overall ranking. Participants cannot submit multiple entries.

b) The 10 winners will be determined by GEZE Benelux BV among all participants, the information of which is correct or complete according to the corresponding specifications, by decision according to the rankings on 12-07-2021. Among the other participants, the lottery prizes will be raffled on 12-07-2021. Only one entry and only one win per participant is possible during the draw period. 

c) GEZE Benelux BV will inform winners promptly after the drawing via e-mail. If it is not possible to deliver notification to a winner, GEZE is not obligated to make further attempts to do so. Winners will be requested to provide GEZE Benelux BV with the complete address to which their prize should be sent. If GEZE GmbH Benelux BV not receive any response via e-mail within one week info.nl@geze.com, then entitlement to the prize will lapse, and a new winner will be drawn.

d) By taking part in the competition, the participant accepts these conditions of participation as well as the GEZE data privacy statement.

e) Participating in the competition is free of charge.

3. Premature end to the competition

GEZE Benelux BV reserves the right to cancel or end the competition at any time. This applies in particular in cases of force majeure, or if the competition cannot be carried out or continued for other organisational, technical, or legal reasons. In such cases, participants will not be entitled to any claims against GEZE Benelux BV.

4. Data protection

GEZE attaches particular value to the protection of personal data and treats it with greatest confidentially. Information submitted will only be processed within the framework of legal conditions, in compliance with the relevant data protection conditions, especially the European General Data Protection Regulation, and protected using extensive technical and organisational measures which go beyond the minimum legal stipulations.

The purpose of processing is to carry out the competition. Data is not transmitted to third parties outside of the GEZE corporate group. Through your consent, you agree that your data may be used for advertising communications. You may revoke this consent at any time. You may participate in this competition if you have accepted these conditions of participation, granted your consent to advertising measures, and have not revoked that consent before the end of the competition period. You can unsubscribe from further communication at any time via e-mail.

5. Exclusion of liability

GEZE Benelux BV accepts no liability for lost data, in particular via data transmission, nor for other technical defects. GEZE Benelux BV shall not be liable for damages resulting from faults in technical systems, for delays or interrupted transmission, or for damages associated with participation in the competition or with the acceptance and use of any prizes.

6. Other regulations

a) GEZE Benelux BV reserves the right to exclude participants from participating in the competition due to providing false information, misuse, reputation damage, manipulation and/or using prohibited auxiliary tools, or violating the conditions of participation.

b) All information is provided without guarantee. Prizes cannot be paid out in cash. The judges’ decision is final.

c) The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies exclusively.

d) If one of these provisions is or becomes invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining conditions of participation.

e) These conditions of participation may be amended by GEZE Benelux BV at any time, without requiring special notification.
